Project OSSMETER (Automated Measurement and Analysis of Open Source Software) successfully had its kick off meeting yesterday at the University of York Heslington East campus.

It was a pleasure for the Softeam team to met Open Group (UK),  University of York (UK),  University of Manchester (UK),  Centrum Wiskunde & Informatica (NL),  University of L'Aquila (IT),  Tecnalia (ES), Uninova (PT) and Unparallel Innovation (PT) partners. The OSSMETER team is extremely skillful and the project can have a real impact on OSS adoption.

Softeam will play a key role in requirements definition and on OSSMETER platform validation applying the platform to our Open Source community Modelio.org and to the many open source based fixed-costs projects in the consultancy department.

Thanks to all the partners for the fruitful discussions and looking forward to share our results on the improvement of the state-of-the-art in the field of automated analysis and measurement of open-source software!
